2015 Santa Cruz Spring Job Fair

Access2Employment is having their 2015 Spring Job Fair in Santa Cruz, California on Wednesday March 25, 2015.  The event will have 25 employers with 650 jobs ready to fill so candidates will need to attend the job fair to learn more about these opportunities.  It will run for 3 ½ hours from 4pm to 7:30pm at the Boardwalk’s Cocoanut Grove at 400 Beach Street.  The late hours will allow those with jobs to have a chance to meet with the employers when they get off work.

Job seekers can learn more about the employers participating at www.access2employment.com.  Some of the employers are Ca. State Parks, Bay Federal Credit Union, City of Santa Cruz, FoxFactory Inc., Michael’s Transportation Service, Sandbar Solar & Electric, and more.  There will be jobs in numerous fields and industries including industrial, finance, transportation, technology, administrative, etc.

The event is free to the public and candidates can expect to see several hundred people in attendance.  Please bring multiple copies of your resume and dress in business attire.  For people who need help with their resume please take advantage of the resume critiquing service that will be ongoing during the job fair.

There will be someone available to review your resume and offer free advice.  At 5:30pm a guest speaker will be sharing insights on crafting a 30 second elevator pitch which is helpful for any job fair you attend to get the recruiter/employer’s attention.

It is still not too late for businesses or agencies to participate and register for this event.  The registration fee is $150 and can be processed online.
