Most patients enroll in the service to conveniently submit payments on their hospital bill which is available for use 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The site is free to use and patients simply need to sign up as a new user on the homepage of the site to setup their account for online access. Once their account is setup patients can begin making payments and monitoring any account activities related to their account.

For users that are not interested in creating an account but still want to make a payment they can select the “Pay As Guest” option and select the appropriate hospital their charges are for. When making an online payment users will need to enter their patient account number, amount paying, and credit card payment information. The site accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Patients can also use Patient Compass to update their billing information such as their name, address, phone number, or email address. If there are changes that need to be made concerning your insurance information patients can make some changes inside their account. Any payments or transactions made by your health insurance company will reflect in your account for you to review and monitor. All of your hospital charges per bill are available for review and patients can also make a request for itemized statements.
