Simple Paderno Spiralizer Instructions

Select a blade:  There are 3 different types of stainless steel blades that come with the Paderno Spiralizer (shredder, chipper, and straight).  They are used for creating different thicknesses and shapes for noodles and vegetable cuts.  Decide on the type of cut you want to make and make the appropriate blade selection.  On the frame of the vegetable slicer there is a slot for the blade.  Place the blade in its desired position until it locks into place.

Countertop Position:  Position the Paderno Spiralizer on a smooth location on your countertop and press down on the frame until the suction cups on the bottom of the frame secure the spiralizer in place.  Be sure to place the spiralizer with the rotating crank end facing your left or right side (the side you’re going to turn the crank with).

Select Vegetable:  Make your selection of fruit or vegetable that you want to spiralizer, chop off both ends of the vegetable/fruit, attach one end to the small circular corer on the blade plate and press the prongs into the opposite end of the vegetable/fruit.

Spiralize:  Use one hand to push the lever handle while at the same time rotating the crank handle with the other hand.  This starts the spiralizing process and you’ll begin to see the exact shapes and sizes you desired to make.
