Amazon Jobs Careerday – Upcoming Nationwide Job Fairs

Amazon has scheduled a nationwide job fair that will take place on September 17, 2019 at 6 locations.  Amazon Career Day 2019 will be at the following locations: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, Tennessee, and Seattle.

The aim is to hire up to 30,000 people by the end of the year as they’re ramping up total workforce by 5%.  Their current estimated workforce total is over 650,000 employees worldwide.

Job seekers interested in applying and registering for a job at Amazon will need to follow the instructions below:

• Visit www.amazon.jobs/careerday
• Click the white Register Near You button
• Select from the 6 cities you will be registering at
• Review the info on the website including the Agenda at the bottom of the page

***The agenda gives a specific schedule of events for the day from the time the doors open until the doors close

Online Registration Steps

When you are ready to register click the dark orange Register Now button at the top right hand corner of the website.  An RSVP popup will display which you’ll enter the following info:

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Answer if you’re interested in career opportunities at Amazon
• Answer the types of roles you’re most interested in
• Upload your resume
• Check the Privacy Notice box
• Click the dark gray Submit button

Amazon Career Day 2019 Job Fair Details

At the hiring event there will be about 1,000 recruiters to help candidates apply for positions, prepare them for job interviews, and give them more info on job roles.  There are jobs for all varieties of workers. In the meantime to take a peek at what types of jobs are available follow below:

• Visit amazon.jobs/careerday
• At the top of the website is a job search bar
• Type in a particular job and location you’re interested in inside the job search bar and click the search button
• If there are job openings for that position you will see info posted about that job

Job seekers should realize that all positions are permanent full time or part time jobs with benefits.  The hiring spree that will be taking place on September 17 is not related to the usual increase in hiring in preparation for the normal holiday shopping season.

Amazon Job Fair 2019, notably in Arlington,VA is the home of Amazon’s 2nd headquarters and is expected to hire 25,000 workers within the next 12 years.  Here is a list of the cities again that will be hiring and having Amazon Career Day September 17:
