Students signed up by their employer to take an online course through J.J. Keller can visit www.jjktrainingportal.com. The online site is available for students 24 hours a day 7 days a week to take a class or particular courses that have been arranged by their employer. There are courses on a variety of topics including construction, DOT, Hazcom, Hazmat, HR, Workplace Safety, etc.
Before signing on to the JJ Keller Training Portal users will need a Username and Password to securely login to their account. This information should be provided to you by your employer which will arrive via email. In the email you will receive a link to the student portal and your login credentials, username and password.
Training Coordinators visiting the site will need to login from the right side of the screen by clicking the Admin Login button then entering in their email address and password to login.
If you forget your username or password try the Forgot your Username or Forgot your Password links on the login page. You will be required to enter your email address to have your username retrieved or password reset.
A temporary verification code will be sent to the user either via e-mail, or text message, dependent on which is selected. The learners account must have an email or phone listed in Training on Demand in order for these options to appear. Select the method in which you wish to receive your verification code and click Send Verification Code.
After entering in your username and password you will be logged in to your JJ Keller online account you should see the courses or classes you’ve been signed up for by your employer on the left side of your screen.
There will also be a blue launch course link on the right of the jjktrainingportal screen and when the student is ready to begin their class they can simply click the launch course link. All the instructions needed to take the class are provided after clicking the link.
Courses Can Be Stopped and Re-Started
Courses can be stopped and started depending if you need to step away from the class for a brief or extended break. To stop the course simply click the exit course button which there’s two buttons located at the top and bottom of the course. Once you return to restart your JJ Keller course you can simply select launch course and it will restart exactly where you left off.
It is a good idea when you are finished with your class to properly exit out of it so you are logged out. After finishing the course your employer will be notified via email informing them that you’ve completed the course. A completion certificate is available for students for finishing their assigned courses which can be provided to you by your employer or printed out yourself inside the training portal.
As long as a student has access to JJ Keller online training they can retake or review the same course as often as they’d like. When it’s time to take the final exam it can only be taken 1 time for some courses while other courses the exam can be taken over again up to 3 times.
