Platinum Capital One activate – Platinum Mastercard Activate

Capital One customers that received a Capital One Platinum Mastercard in the mail can take the first step to using their new card by activating it.  There are a couple ways to activate your card which is by phone or online, whichever is most convenient for you.

Platinum Capital One Activate Card Steps

If you have your card before you can start spending with it you first need to activate it:

Activate by Phone – Call 1-800-227-4825

Activate Online

• Visit www.platinumcapitalone.com activate
• First need to be enrolled in online banking

If you are not enrolled in online banking click the “enrolled in online banking” link

Enter the following details:

• Last name
• Social security number
• Date of birth
• Click the blue Find Me button

There is a 4 step process to enrolling which is collecting your information for:

• General Information
• Your Products
• Sign In
• Verification
• Completion

When you finish the 4 step process you should have a Capital One online account that you can officially login and out of.  

Already Have an Online Account

Visit platinumcapitalone.com activate

Have handy your 3 digit security code

Click the blue Activate New Card Online button

If you have a Capital One online account click the blue Sign In & Activate button

Enter in your Capital One username and password

Click the green Sign In button

If you have forgotten your login credentials you can click the Forgot Username or Password link and be prepared to enter:

• Last name
• Social security number
• Date of birth
• Click the gray Find Me button
