Before activating your Braven smart card, make sure that you have received it from the vendor or employer. There are 3 ways to activate your card. You must activate your card before use.
1. Call 1-800-688-9140 (TTY 711) and select option 1. If you activate your card via our interactive voice response system, you will be asked to create a PIN number and provide your card number and expiration date. After your card is activated, you can change the PIN if necessary.
2. On BravenSmartCard.com, click My Account and select Activate Card on the dropdown menu that appears. A PIN number will be created after entering the last four digits of the card number. You can change the PIN after your card is activated if needed.
3. Click the menu at the top right of the screen to open the myTotal Benefits Mobile App and select Activate Card. Your card number will be requested along with a PIN number. As soon as your card is activated, your PIN can be changed if necessary.
Once activated, the card may be used for purchases as a cre
