Apply for Wells Fargo Cash Back College Card

If you recently received an offer in the mail about applying for the Wells Fargo Cash Back College Card then consider applying online today and receive an instant response on your acceptance.  Receiving an invite to apply for a card is already approval that you will be accepted for a card but depending on your credit score/history your credit limit may vary.  Customers can apply online at www.wellsfargo.com/mynewcard or by using the paper application that you received in the mail.  It will take longer to process your application through the mail so take advantage of the online services.

The process of applying online is simple as you’ll need to enter the Reservation/Application number which is 16 digits long highlighted on the letter you received in the mail and the last 4 digits of your social security number.  After you hit Continue you will then need to complete the rest of the application which will consist of more personal information you’ll need to enter such as your employment status, salary, mortgage info, etc.  After that information has been entered hit Submit and your application will be instantly reviewed taking approximately 60 seconds for a decision.

Customers who are accepted to receive a card will receive their card in the mail 7 to 10 days out.  At that time you will learn their credit limit as well.  Once you receive your new card in the mail it will need activating which there will be instructions on how to do that when your new card packet arrives.  With most card offers there is an expiration date customers need to apply by so be sure to apply before the offer date expires.

As with most credit cards utilizing online services is a very convenient way to monitor all of your account activities.  After you activate your new card register for online services and begin accessing your new account through the use of a Username and Password that will allow you to manage your account through any device that has internet capabilities.  You will be able to monitor your spending 24 hours 7 days a week and utilize mobile apps that you can download to your smartphone.

There are a lot of helpful tools and resources available to customers through Wells Fargo’s online services to help members be more financially responsible.  Sign up for scheduled auto-payments and avoid late fees which will prevent you from always having to remember to pay your bill.  Email and text alerts are very useful as well to notify you in advance of pre-set limits to prevent unnecessary penalties.
