When an employee joins AFSCME International, a new member card is sent to them that must be activated online.  Users can easily access the site using their home computer, mobile device, or smartphone after completing the simple activation process.

You can activate your card 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the site.  

How To Activate Your AFSCME Membership Online

Have your AFSCME card handy and follow these simple steps to activate it.  

• Visit www.afscmecard.org

Enter the following details:

• AFSCME Member Number (located on the front of your card)
• Home email address
• Cell phone number
• Date of birth
• Click the green ACTIVATE button

Your card will be active as soon as you activate it at afscmecard.org.  In order to use the card, you need to activate it.
