Comenity Bank credit card members that are eligible for remediation due to enrollment in Account Assure or Account Assure Pro between January 1, 2008 and September 30, 2104 can visit www.comenityremediation.com to check on their eligibility.
A recent settlement of $61 million in restitution by Comenity Bank to its credit card members was ordered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. The details of the settlement are eligible members may be eligible to receive a refund of certain fees, an account credit, or a gift card as a result of this settlement.
Letters have already been sent out by Comenity Bank notifying eligible members of their settlement arrangement. If for some reason you feel as though you are eligible for a refund but have not received notification via mail or email then you can visit the online website to inquire about your refund. Members can also call 1-877-276-6840 to speak with a representative between the hours of 9am-9pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday-Friday.
If you haven’t received notification about the settlement possibly because of a recent relocation to a new area you can also visit the remediation website and update your contact info. At the top of the website select the “Update Your Address” field and you will see an online form you can use to make updates to your personal information. Users can update their name, address, phone number, and email address.
