thbillpay – Payment Guide for TeamHealth

Patients that have an outstanding balance due for medical services can make a payment online at www.thbillpay.com.  TeamHealth’s Patient Billing Services Center is an online third party payment platform that accepts payments on behalf of your medical providers.  The site is safe for customers to use and submit their payments.

How to Use ThBillPay.com

If you received a billing statement in the mail from your medical provider one of the options that were made available to you for making a payment is ThBillPay platform.  ThBillPay is an online option for patients that want to pay via the internet.

At the homepage of TeamHealth Patient Billing there are 2 options available for users to pay.  Users can elect to pay by credit card or by e-check. Both options can be selected either from the top or middle of the screen.  Just select the appropriate Make Payment button to go to the next page of the payment process.

Both the credit card and e-check option require users to enter their TeamHealth account number and the last 4 digits of their social security number then complete and enter the following information:

• TeamHealth account number – this 14 digit number is easily found in the center of your billing statement
• Patient name
• Patient’s relationship to payer
• Name on card
• Address
• Email address
• Total due now

Pay By Credit Card

When paying by credit card users will need to enter the payment amount, card type (American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa), 3 digit security code found on the back of their credit card, and the card expiration date.  It will take a minute or so for the payment to be processed online.

Pay By E-Check

When using the e-check option users will need to enter their payment amount, account type (personal checking, personal savings, business checking, and business savings).

Pay By Check or Money Order

Patients don’t have to rely on the online option to submit their payment.  The online option is a very convenient way to pay but they can also pay the traditional route, via mail.  With the paper billing statement that you received there is attached a payment coupon that can be detached and sent with a money order or personal check for payment.

You will need to make sure your check is addressed and made out to the appropriate mailing address.  The right address is highlighted on the payment coupon.

Any questions or concerns patients are experiencing can be addressed with customer service via the National Patient Service Center.  They can be reached Monday through Friday between 8am and 8pm or Saturday between 10am and 3pm Eastern standard time. The phone number to call is 1-888-952-6772.

Another option to reach customer service is through the ThBillPay webview website.  At the top of the page is the Contact Billing Center link that will allow you to leave a comment and provide documentation for review.
