The Upgrade Card Pre Approval Process – Getting Started

Types of Upgrade Cards

There are 4 types of Upgrade cards available for customers to apply for during the Upgrade Card pre approval process – here’s a list of those cards:

• Cash Rewards – offers unlimited 1.5% cash back on payments
• Triple Cash Rewards – offers unlimited 3% cash back on payments for purchases in Home, Auto, and Health categories
• Bitcoin Rewards – offers unlimited 1.5% back in bitcoin on payments
• Upgrade Cade – offers credit with no fees

Upgrade Card Pre Qualify Steps

Most consumers become familiar with the Upgrade Card first by receiving an invite in the mail.  The next step is to visit the online website to have their credit checked and to apply.  Before getting started with the application process you will need to locate your 15 digit Upgrade card pre approval reservation number.  You can find that number at either the top or bottom of your offer letter.

According to your credit report, receiving a pre-approved letter means that you have met the minimum borrowing requirements. If you submit an application, we will verify other factors such as employment and income. You can see what you may qualify for and viewing your offer has no impact on your credit score.

• Visit the Upgrade card pre approval website
• Enter your 15 digit pre-approval code
• Press the green Get Started button

Rate Check

When you select the Get Started button this will check your rate but not your credit score via the Upgrade card pre approval website.  Your credit report is accessed via a soft inquiry when you check your rate to determine whether you qualify for any offers. This will not affect your credit score. 

Upon accepting your offer and providing your bank account information, a second soft inquiry is conducted, which has no effect on your credit score. Our loan funding process includes a hard inquiry on your credit report, which may affect your credit score and be visible to third parties.
