Patients that have received a hospital/medical bill in the mail and have been referred to MyMedicalPayments to submit their payment can do so at www.mymedicalpayments.com. The site is a physician billing service provided by RTI – Reimbursement Technologies Inc.
It is a mediator between the hospital/physician and their patients to accurately and conveniently manage the client billing process. Patients can utilize the service to make payments, review their account, update their address, etc.
How To Use www.mymedicalpayments.com
The website is very simple to use and only requires following a few steps to view your account and make an online payment.
The first step is to sign in to your account using your account number.
- Locate your account number on your hardcopy billing statement – at the top right of statement or on the detachable portion of your statement
- Visit www.mymedicalpayments.com
- Enter the account number
Verify Your Identity
You will be provided three ways to verify yourself in the drop down menu. Choose 1 of the 3 options provided:
- Enter patient’s date of birth
- Enter last 4 digits of patient’s ssn
- Enter patient’s phone number
Read the Terms & Conditions section of the site to be sure you understand the fine details and afterwards place a check in the I have read & accept the Terms & Conditions. Lastly click the Sign In button.
MyMedicalPayments Payment Options
Once logged in to www.mymedicalpayments.com and your account information is displayed users can next make an online payment.
When paying online you can pay via electronic debit from your checking account. The other available options for submitting a my medical payment is by telephone or by mail.
Pay by Telephone
Patients can pay by telephone by speaking with a Patient Service Representative at 1-800-355-2470.
They can access your account and accept payment by phone. You will need to call between their working hours of Monday – Friday 9:30am to 4pm.
Pay by Mail
On your hardcopy billing statement there is a detachable portion for patients to tear off and along with their payment mail back to the address on the statement. This option definitely takes the longest to process considering mail travel time but it’s available.
Contact Customer Service
Patients are provided a couple ways to communicate with Customer Service. The online option is by clicking the Contact Us link at the bottom of the web portal. You will then be required to enter:
- Account number
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Your comments
- Click Submit
A more direct response is to call the toll free number as mentioned earlier to speak with someone. There is also a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section for customers to review in case there is a posted answer for any questions they may have.
