If you haven’t already setup an online account you can follow these instructions to get started:

**prior to getting started you should have the following information handy:

• Your CarMax auto finance account number
• Date of birth
• Last 4 digits of your ssn
• Valid email address

Once you have the above info handy from the homepage of CarMax Auto Finance continue:

Look at the center of the homepage for the yellow REGISTER NOW button and click the button

Enter the following details on the registration form:

• First name
• Last name
• Zip code
• Email address
• Create password
• Account number
• Last 4 digits of ssn
• Date of birth
• Check the agreements
• Click the green Next button

Once you have registered for an online account the next step is to login to your account, simply here’s how:

• Click the yellow SIGN IN button
• Enter your login credentials – email address and password

Make a Payment Online

Inside your online account there are a lot of features available to you.  The most popular feature is the bill pay option.  If you are asking the question, Can you pay CarMax online, the answer is YES, users can setup their account to make one-time manual payments or for recurring monthly payments.  

To setup your monthly Carmax online bill payments specifically recurring payments you will need to visit the carmaxautofinance.com payments page inside your account and include your bank account information.  You can use your checking or savings account.  Enter your bank routing number and account number for creating your monthly electronic draft.

After you submit your payment online it will take up to 2 business days for your payment to post in your account.  If you submit an online payment after 10pm pacific time it will be credited the following business day
