Huntington Bank customers that have recently received their Huntington debit card in the mail before making any purchases will first need to activate their card online.  The card is for members that have applied for and been approved for a checking account.

Activating Your Debit Card at Huntington.com/activate

If you are interested in activating your Huntington debit card online the steps below are easy to follow:

• Visit www.huntington.com activate card
• Log in to your online account
• Select the Customer Service tab located at the top of the page
• Select the Card Services link
• Click Activate My Debit Card
• Enter your 3 digit security card located on the back of your debit card
• Click Activate

Activate via Mobile App

If you have the Huntington Bank mobile app downloaded to your smartphone or mobile device you can activate your card from there, here’s how:

• Launch the Huntington Mobile app
• Sign in to your online account
• Click the More option
• Select the Manage Cards link
• Select your card
• Enter the 3 digit code (located on the back of your card)
• Continue with the on screen prompts to complete the activation process
