Information for transfers from Capital One

CIBC Costco Mastercard cardholders that were transferred from Capital One will need to be aware of some changes in the process:

Capital One Costco Mastercards were converted to CIBC Costco Mastercards on March 4, 2022. If your account is in good standing, you can expect your new CIBC Costco Mastercard to arrive before August 31, 2022. You can use your costco credit card until then.

You must insert your new card and enter your PIN to enable the tap function once you receive your new CIBC Costco Mastercard and activate it. After this, you will be able to tap your card for future purchases.
