Credit One Bank Activate Card Guide

Credit One Bank customers that recently applied for a Credit One Bank credit card and received their new credit card in the mail will need to go through the activation process before actually using the card.  The activation process is to verify you and ensure your security. 

How to Activate a Credit One Card

The steps towards card activation are very simple requiring you to call a toll free number and input some card info:

• Call 1-877-825-3242
• Use the Credit one bank activate card automated phone option
• Enter card number followed by the # sign
• Provide your birth date, social security number, card 3 digit security code

If you provided the above information via the toll free number your new Credit One bank card should be activated and you can start making purchases.  The Credit one card activation service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for cardholders to use.  

There is also the option to speak with a live customer service representative if you feel more comfortable getting assistance from them.

Currently there is no option to activate your new credit card on the Credit One bank website.  You will need to use the toll free phone service.  

Be sure to look for the actual toll free number which is printed on the sticker attached to your new card 

Call within 14 days after you received your new card

New cardholders that do not activate their new card within the 14 day window risk their account being closed.

Register for Online Access

After you have gone through the Credit One bank activate card process the next step is to register for an online account.  There are benefits to registering for an online account including:

• Pay your bill
• Manage your transactions
• Make changes to your profile info
• Setup auto bill pay
• View your billing statements
• Change your payment due date
